First post of the blog, probably last of the year

A good friend of mine suggested I start a blog to talk about my life (which I hear is rather amusing) and just for everyone's general amusement. So, I suppose I will do that, as a supplement to my knitting blog Cherishables, which no one reads because knitting is boring. Even though I do it a lot. Whatever. So, I'm just getting this started so I won't forget to update it at all after the new year
